Endy Chavez doubles to score Reyes and the Mets have done it again. This is the eight consecutive game in which the Mets have scored in the first inning. This is the first time in just about 70 years that this task has been accomplished. The last team to do it was the Philadelphia Athletics. Carlos Beltran got out. Carlos Delgado walked. Trach gets the next two outs but then Sal Fasano delivers a two out double to score Howard. Cory Lidel delivers a single. Runners on first and third. Jimmy Rollens flys out to Center.
