Post Game Summary: Mets vs Orioles

The New York Mets combine great pitching, with timely hits to shut down the Baltimore Orioles. Pedro Martinez started the game. He pitched 3 successful innings allowing just one hit and 3 strike outs. Victor Zambrano came in for Pedro in the 4th inning. He pitched 6 marvelous innings. He gave up 4 hits, and 2 walks while recording 4 strikeouts. The Met offense dominated as they were able to score 8 runs. Carlos Beltran walked several times throughout the game. Delgado continued to hit the ball very well. Despite only getting 2 hits, Diaz hit the ball hard in all 5 of his at bats. The Mets next game is against the Dodgers and will take place at Tradition Field.
