Mets Look To Get On The Right Trach

In Just about 30 minutes Steve Trachsel will take the mound for the Mets. This will be the second game of a 3 game series. Thus far the Mets are 0-1 in the series. They look to ride Steve to a victory tonight. The last time Trach made a start against the Giants was in his 2005 debut. He pitched 8 innings allowing just 2 hits in what was probably the fastest game of his career. He has a 9-4 record and 2.57 ERA in 19 career starts against the Giants. Thus far this season Trach has 2 good starts and one bad start.

His counter-part will be Jamey Wright. Wright holds a 1-2 record and 5.81 ERA in 8 starts against the Mets. However he is 2-0 this season and he is dominating opposing hitters. Opposing hitters are hitting a miniscule .192 against him.

The first pitch will come from Wright at 10:15 PM EST. Tune into to SNY or WFAN for all the action. Good luck Trach and LETS GO METS!!!
