Nothing Like An Ace On Mothers Day

The Mets will send their Ace Pedro Martinez to the mound in the rubber game of a 3 game series. The Mets lost the first series as they were crushed by horrible pitching from Jose Lima and the bull pen. They squeezed out an 8-9 victory last night to tie the series. Now they look to win it as they send there number one pitcher. Pedro had a 1-0 record with a 5.40 ERA is 2 starts against the Brewers last season. In his last outing he struck out ten and did not allow a hit outside of the second inning. So far this season Pedro is 5-0 with a 2.89 ERA. The Mets have only lost one game when Martinez has pitched and they plan to keep it that way. The opposing pitcher will be Doug Davies. Thus far this season Davies is 2-2 with a 5.32 ERA.
