Mets may stand pat

Newark Star-Ledger (scroll down) (registration required): "It's possible that the Mets could get involved in trade discussions for an available second baseman such as Boston's Tony Graffanino, the Cubs' Todd Walker or Tampa Bay's Julio Lugo. But it's far more likely, especially with Matsui due back in April, that they will now take a longer look at such in-house candidates as Anderson Hernandez and Jeff Keppinger. "
A second chance for all

Newsday: "There are some trade possibilities, notably Tony Graffanino with the Red Sox and perhaps the expensive Alfonso Soriano once he returns to the Nationals from the WBC. However, the Mets aren't likely to pursue Soriano now that their offense has been beefed up with the addition of Carlos Delgado in the offseason."
