SNY Is On The Air, Or Is It?

SportsNet New York, the new home of the New York Mets, was set to air at 5:00 PM EST today. And they did not disappointed...Well they did not disappointed those customers with Time Warner or Comcast, but those customers with Cablevision and satellite are very much disappointed. I have contacted Cablevision 3 times today and all 3 times the representatives told me that Cablevision plans to air all the Mets games for the season but they will not air Spring Training games unless they reach an agreement before the season starts. Today at 7:10 PM the Mets are set to take on the Braves. Lucky for those of us who are not Time Warner/Comcast customers the games will air on MLB.TV, Gameday Audio, and the mlb.com scoreboard will be available. For those of you who do not have MLB.TV or Gameday Audio, I will provide in game notes. First pitch is at 7:10 so be here.
