Today in Mets News Anthony Rieber of Newsday writes about the pink bats used in yesterdays game and what it ment to everyone especially LHP Darren Oliver... M.A. Metha of The Star-Ledger suggests that Brian Bannister may be ready to pitch on thursday against the Cardinals or on Friday against the Yankees. Adam Rubin of the Daily News disagrees as he claims the Mets would like to have Bannister pitch in a minor league game before his return. However both Rubin and Metha agree that if Brian is not ready to go the Mets will not rush him...
